I have been working like a madwoman these past two 
weeks which has drastically cut into my knitting time. I worked about 6 hours today and said I would reward myself with some knitting time. And I am thrilled to report that I finished a monkey sock! One down one to go. The heel flap is a bit too big. I have short and narrow heels and this happened on my last sock too. I know I need to modify this next time around.

Jen: Congrats on the finished sock--it is adorable! I can't wait to see the PAIR! I was at Knitting Arts today and noticed that they have a Socks 101 2-part class starting on Sept 5th AND I noticed all the great sock yarn that I never really paid attention to before. I don't think I can hold out any longer--I think I may have to break down and get on the sock bandwagon. OMG, just one more thing to add to my never-ending WIP list!
